Tour Description

Follow in the footsteps on Fannie Quigley to the old gold town of Kantishna on this all-day adventure to the end of the Park Road. Join a Certified Interpretive Guide on this unique experience, and learn about the park – and spend time in Kantishna discovering its fascinating history and role in the formation of Interior Alaska. This experience also features a National Park Service Interpretive Ranger from Wonder Lake. This is the only tour to feature an Interpretive Ranger from the National Park Service.

Tour Overview

Tour Duration	11 - 12 Hours, 92 miles one-way to the end of the Park Road
Morning Tours	2 Departures daily – 6:15 - 7:15 am and 7:30 - 8:30 am
Tour Buses	Comfortable, modified school bus with coach seating

Tour Restroom Breaks	Approximately every 90 minutes

Departure Location	Tours depart from Denali Bus Depot at 6:10 am - 7:30 am

Know Before You Go

Meals: Boxed lunch, snacks, and beverages provided
Suggested items to bring: warm clothes, raingear, camera and film or memory card, binoculars and personal medication as necessary
Smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on tour buses

National Park Pass Holders

Adult rates include the National Park Service Entrance Fee. All pass holders prepaying the National Park Service Fee will be entitled to a refund. Along with confirmation and/or tickets, please present photo ID with pass to obtain National Park Service Entrance Fee Refund. Check at your hotel front desk or visit the Denali Bus Depot in Denali National Park.

You can make your reservation online or in person at the Denali Bus Depot. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
